So, I went back to the doctor today. I am now dilated to a 2 and 75-80% effaced. My due date is the 23rd, and my doctor said he would induce me on the 18th if I wanted him to, or wait until after my due date on the 25th... tempting. We will see in the next couple of days.

i personally think you should get induced on the 18th if you don't have your baby by then. I'm sorry, but the last 2 weeks of pregnancy are so miserable. I try not to tell any pregnant woman but it's true. If not for you, do it for Chad. :)

That is so exciting Em! Oh, I remember that feeling! I was induced before Cooper's due date b/c I was progressing like you and I LOVED it! I guess I don't really know what to compare it to, but it was a dream. I didn't feel a thing and was able to enjoy the whole experience! Good luck with everything. I can't wait to see him. He will be so dang cute.

ok first of all - your nursery looks awesome! second, parker is a darling name! third....do everything you can to get that baby out asap! that last week really lasts forever. when i had my first I was a day late and it was seriously the longest day of my life! my second came a week early on his own and they induced #3 almost 2 weeks early because I was favorable and ryan was going to be out of town at an away game for the weekend and I didn't want him to miss the delivery. if you're favorable I say get those membranes stripped....it put me into labor within 2 days every time! good luck! cant wait to see photos of baby parker!
Congratulations guys!! Parker is so precious--I love him! I miss the newborn stage so much. Nothing brings heaven to your home like a baby fresh from Heavenly Father. He is just perfect. Thanks for the pictures.
