Trip Installment 2: The Lake House
Park and I met up with Chad's family and spent 4 days at Lake Mead. I think it may have been my favorite trip to the lake house yet. It was so fun to see Parker interact with his cousins and experience the lake and boating for the first time. The new boat, jet skis, skin baking sun, jeep rides, hammock naps, and perfect glass water were breath-taking... all of it. Chad flew in on Friday for his birthday weekend, and Matt and Ash spent the weekend at the lake with us as well. It was so good to see Chad after a week and a half. Parker and I really missed him! Chad spent his birthday eating his birthday cereal (a Burnham family tradition), waterskiing (one of my FAVORITE things to watch Chad do), and topping it all off with Cafe Rio before he had to fly back to Baltimore. It was so nice to be with our Burnham family in such a beautiful place that is so much fun, and has already created so many memories! Thanks Mom and Dad! We can't wait to do it again!!!

Mmmm...waterskiing....Looks like you guys had a blast with the family. I'm hoping we can get a boat next year. Very cool.
X-45! I'm jealous. (I hope we really are your friends.) Chad, I had no idea you were so good at skiing. I challenge you to a ski-off in 2010.
Well I can complete the course at 21' off, 33 mph. I need numbers. Give me cold hard numbers. There's 4 numbers for you. You probably don't even know what 21'off means...you leisurly skiier. How many awards do you have? None! That's right. Besides, according to Ryan, only malibu's make good skiing boats. Do you have a malibu? Didn't think so doo doo head.
Ahh that looks so fun. And I'm so excited for you to go to so you think you can dance. You will absolutely LOVE it! And I didn't know this but if you wait like for an hour after the show you get to meet all the dancers. I'm so mad I didn't know. Who would think to read the message boards?!?! Duh!
Don’t be a hypocrite Joe! Actually, I don’t know why I just called you that. It’s just my favorite word. You will never lose an argument if you call the other person a hypocrite. Anyways, try 60’ off and 40 miles an hour. Yes, it’s something the Burnhams invented called “White Whaleing”. You hold onto the 15’ rope with nothing but your life jacket and shorts and see how fast the boat can go before your shorts are around your ankles. Of course that has nothing to do with skiing. That’s because the X-45 is not a ski boat. If you weren’t blind you would have seen that our boat is an X-45. They don’t allow competition wake-board boats run the course. That makes your entire argument about skiing and Malibu boats completely pointless. Like I said, don’t be a hypocrite.
Anyways I got to go watch “the Office”. You’re probably going to be watching football tonight, aren’t you? Aren’t there a couple of crappy teams from the crappy PAC 0.001 playing tonight?
Well your "white whaleing" is what I call "floppy fish" I guess you try to do yours with your white butt hanging out.
As for your argument you might want to take some reading comprehension classes. We were talking about skiing, not wakeboarding. Most people that aren't retarded would know the difference. I hear the X-45 is supposed to fit 17 people, but your momma's so fat it only seats 7.
The pac .0001 might become the pac .0002 in about 12 minutes. Wait for it.
Overall I think this is just a personal attack on me because you think I have my priorities wrong in postponing children in order to acquire wealth. So maybe I'll be able to afford a $80,000 boat but have no children to fill it up with and maybe you'll have children but no boat to put them in. So whose wrong?
You are wrong by not letting your wife spell check your posts.
Who's vs. Whose
I like how you are so nit picky about casual typing on a blog and tear me apart yet you avoid the facts I just brought to the argument. So who's wrong?
Thank you for the gramatestical correction. According to your wife, you're hole post becomes irrelevant when their are spelling errors.
I think we are both wrong. But that's okay. We'll let you borrow our kids all you want. And you can let us borrow your boat all we want. Win, win, win.
Free Speech!
