Happy Birthday Steph!

On June 12, my little sister Stephanie turned 21! Steph is so talented and so bright. She is in the accounting program at BYU, which is so hard to get into, and now she just found out she got into the Masters of Accounting program, which is even tougher! She came out to visit us a couple of weeks ago and had so much fun. Steph, good luck with your internship this summer in San Francisco. We love you!

First Orioles Game

Parker finally made it to Camden Yards a couple of weeks ago for his first Orioles game. He loved all of the lights and sounds and people cheering. My little sister Tia rode a bus down from New York, where she is nannying for the summer and went to the game with us. We had a blast, and love when Tia is around to spend time with us and Parker.

What's up Doc?

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. We have been so busy with family in town and vacations. I have SO much to blog about, so the posts should be flowing now.

Parker is such a little show off when he is at the doctor. These are a few pictures from his 4 month appointment a few weeks ago... before the shots. Poor kid, had no idea what was coming.

Mr. Personality

Parker is full of drama. His faces are to die for, and this is his excited face. How could you not love this little guy... especially when he is this excited to see you?

Matt is a TEENAGER!

My youngest little brother Matt turned the big 13 today. I can not believe he is that old! It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital watching him be born. Okay, now I am sounding old. But I love this guy. He has always been so smart, fun, and good at everything he tries. Before he was even 2, he memorized all of my high school friends' first and last names. It was amazing, and so fun when they would come over and quiz him. He was such a brilliant little boy and still is, with his 4.0 GPA and dreams to become a doctor. He is a star on the tennis court, soccer field, and basketball court, and is a friend to EVERYONE, especially his niece and nephews who all adore him. We love you Matty. Happy Birthday little bud.

Cinco de Mayo

Yesterday for Cinco de Mayo we went to a little Fiesta over at our friends, the Skinners. The celebration was complete with great pork tacos and homemade salsa, pina colada slushies, a candy filled pinata, and Chad's favorite CD from his mission, "Azul, Azul".

HAPPY MAY 2nd!

Some of you may know, or remember that May 2nd is my own special holiday. I know, call me crazy, but for some reason ever since I was a little girl, May 2nd has been my favorite day of the year. I have always thought that one year, something really special would happen on May 2nd. But, even if nothing ever does, it is still really fun to look forward to May 2nd, as just an extra special day. It's never too late to pick a favorite day. I promise it is really fun. Happy May 2nd everyone! (and happy birthday Katie Leale)

Our little stud

Parker is such a fun kid, I seriously love being his mom and feel so lucky to get to be with him all day, every day. Some of his favorite things to do are go running with me in the mornings, go outside (sometimes we will have to go on 3 walks a day) get his hair/head washed, talk to his baseball mit that hangs above his changing table, play with the toys on his bouncer, watch basketball with Dad, snuggle, and as of yesterday, roll over! (video to come later). He is our little social butterfly who will flirt and smile with any stranger that even throws him a second glance. Man, I love this kid.
